🌟 Learn 7 most powerful Islamic Sunnah: My Personal Journey Back to Allah
🕌 "Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves." – Qur'an 13:11
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah, dear brothers and sisters.
Today I want to speak to you heart to heart, not just as a blogger but as your brother (or sister) in faith. In a world filled with distractions, fast trends, and constant comparison, many of us — including myself — often feel distant from Allah. We pray, yes. We fast, yes. But something still feels missing sometimes, doesn’t it?
That’s why I want to share with you 7 simple but powerful Islamic habits that changed my life. These are easy to start, need little effort, but the impact? Unimaginable – in both dunya and akhirah, InshaAllah.
🕋 1. Begin Your Day with Fajr and 5 Minutes of Dhikr
“Whoever prays the dawn prayer in congregation, it is as if he has prayed the whole night.” – Muslim
I used to struggle with Fajr. But the moment I made it a daily mission to wake up, pray, and just sit for 5 minutes doing:
- SubhanAllah (33 time )
- Alhamdulillah (33 time)
- Allahu Akbar (34 time)
— my days started becoming calmer. The stress reduced, and I felt more connected to Allah.
📿 2. Keep Your Tongue Moist with Zikr – Even During Work
One of my teachers told me: "If your heart is heavy, it’s because your tongue is dry." That stuck with me. So now even while cooking, walking, or scrolling my phone, I try to say:
- La ilaha illallah
- Astaghfirullah
- Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad
These small words have helped me fight anxiety and laziness. Try it — even if your mind is busy, let your tongue do the dhikr.
💡 Personal tip: Stick a little note near your mirror with these words as a reminder.
📖 3. Read One Page of Qur’an Daily – But Understand It
It’s not about reading 10 pages. Just 1 page with meaning. Use a Qur’an app or a physical Mushaf with translation. Reflect and write down one lesson. This made me fall in love with the Qur’an again.
My way:
- Read 1 page daily after Fajr or Maghrib
- Use English/Bengali translation
- Write one takeaway in a notebook
🕊️ 4. Practice Sunnah Smiling – Spread Light Without Speaking
“Smiling in the face of your brother is charity.” – Tirmidhi
This is one Sunnah that spreads so much peace. I remember someone telling me, “You always seem peaceful.” It wasn’t me — it was the smile. Just start. It's free and deeply rewarding.
🤍 Personal advice: When you're about to get angry, pause... and smile instead. It's a quiet jihad.
🕯️ 5. Sunnah Before Sleep – Forgiveness & Reflection
Instead of falling asleep with our phones in hand, let's try this bedtime Sunnah:
- Make wudhu
- Read Ayatul Kursi & 3 Quls
- Make du’a from the heart
- Forgive everyone
- Reflect: “What did I do for Allah today?”
This has helped me sleep peacefully, and even wake up for Tahajjud more often, Alhamdulillah.
🥰 6. Give Charity Daily (Even ₹1 or a Smile)
“Charity does not decrease wealth.” – Muslim
Every day I try to give something: a rupee, a dua, or even a smile. If I can’t give money, I send Islamic reminders. That too is charity. Start this habit, and you’ll feel the barakah increase, inshaAllah.
⏰ 7. Block 10 Minutes for Allah – Every Single Day
Just 10 minutes. Sit quietly. Make du’a. Think about Jannah. Talk to Allah. No phones. No noise. Just you and Him. This small act brings so much emotional healing. Try it once — you’ll want to do it daily.
🌸 Final Personal Advice
Don’t try all 7 habits at once. I did — and I failed. Take one step at a time:
Week | Habit |
---|---|
Week 1 | Start Fajr + Morning Dhikr |
Week 2 | Read Qur’an + Tongue Dhikr |
Week 3 | Smile & Daily Charity |
Week 4 | Night Sunnah + Quiet Time |
Let’s walk this path together. Step by step. Sincere. Steady. And always hopeful.
🤲 May Allah accept our efforts and guide our hearts. Ameen.
If this post helped you, share it with someone you love. You might become the reason they turn back to Allah.
