Let’s talk heart-to-heart, as your Muslim brother. I want to share what Islam says, what our legal rights are, and some personal advice — all based on sincerity and love for the deen.
🌟 1. What Does Islam Say About Interfaith Marriage?
✅ Islam allows specific cases of interfaith marriage:
A Muslim man may marry a Christian or Jewish woman (People of the Book), if she is chaste and respectful of his faith.
“(Lawful) to you are the chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture before you.” — Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:5
❌ But a Muslim woman is not allowed to marry a non-Muslim man — until he accepts Islam.
“And do not marry polytheistic men (to your women) until they believe…” — Surah Al-Baqarah 2:221

Even if she is Christian or Jewish — it's still best that she truly accepts Islam, for long-term harmony.

🙏 Help her learn. Give her time. But don’t fake faith just to marry. Allah knows what’s in the heart.
⚖️ 3. What About the Law in India (2025)?
📜 India allows interfaith marriage under the Special Marriage Act (SMA). That means two people from different religions can marry without converting legally.
🛡️ Some states provide legal protection, while others still make it tough due to anti-conversion laws.
Know your rights. Keep proper documents. And never hesitate to seek advice.

- 💡 Be honest: Is this just love, or is deen part of the plan?

🤲 Brother, I say this from the heart:
💌 If she truly loves you, she’ll want to understand and respect your faith.
💌 If Allah wills it, He’ll open her heart to Islam too.
